my little friend, with his mother, and sister, in the small local village shop, of
makhupung village, eastern highlands of lesotho... these shops are common in
the villages, selling the essentials, like, oil, wheat flour, tooth paste, head ache
tablets, etc... basically all the last minute things, since the closest main shopping
area is 20km away...

sheperds sticks, called "mulamu" in sesotho... every shepherd will have stick,
for there own protection and for hearding the animals... the shepherds take pride
in decorating the sticks with old wires, making them as personal as possible...

soccer field, outside mdumbi backpackers, in the transkei... the day before
i had watched 3 football matches between local comunities... these matches
where arranged by "transcape", who also arranged plenty of hiv awareness
and a testing station for the day... in southern africa hiv is a crisis, and so
we need to educate and promote a healthy environment...

this small group of kids where having alot of fun, playing on this one goal...
